Modeling of woven fabrics
GfaR provided sophisticated tools for textile analysis and rendering. In contrast to existing approaches our methods are strictly physically-based and allow for virtual prototyping. For a given weave pattern the appearance of woven fabrics can be faithfully predicted based on the optical and geometrical properties of individual yarns.
