Technologies

Our team incorporates extensive research and development experience in physically-based simulations and rendering.

The technologies developed by GfaR allow for virtual optical experiments and are a key to photo-realistic image synthesis. Our expertise includes efficient rendering algorithms as well as physically-based models for light scattering from surfaces and participating media. Moreover, we also actively doing research in the field of inverse rendering.

Besides computer graphics our work also focuses on physically-based motion analysis and synthesis, sonification, dynamics of complex mechanical systems and biometric authentification.
